Dr. Catherine Do

Dr. Catherine Do serves as a member of our board of directors. Dr. Do was trained as a medical doctor specializing in Public Health and Epidemiology in France, with a keen interest in molecular epidemiology. Due to the absence of a joint PhD-MD program in France, she paused her residency to earn a master’s in Biostatistics and Clinical Research and a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology.

After spending a year at the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM) as a pharmaco-epidemiologist, Dr. Do pursued her interest in molecular research, undertaking a post-doctoral fellowship in genetics and epigenetics at Columbia University. From 2017 to 2022, she served as an assistant scientist at the Center for Discovery and Innovation at Hackensack University Medical Center.

In 2022, to further her expertise in chromatin architecture, she joined NYU Langone Health as an Assistant Professor in Pathology focusing on chromatin architecture, underscoring her central role in the field of drug discovery. Dr. Do earned a master’s in Biostatistics and Clinical Research and a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France.
